Those are just useless clicks crammed into gameplay to make it longer. It actually is disappointing.

When it comes to solving the crimes, investigating is a breeze. The game holds your hand almost all the time so you won’t really have to put your brain to work. You’ll have to circle some stuff, click some other stuff and you’ll even be put in the situation of playing ‘spot the difference’.
